


If you find the game too easy, try setting "personal goals" for yourself, such as not giving gifts, not using debt or the "rescue" gift, making all houses a minimum level (such as grand insulae), or anything else that appeals to you (and appears reasonable in a mission).

The project never attracted much interest, since it was possible to create challenging missions with the existing game. Many years ago, a few forumers suggested changing c3_model.txt to make the game harder, and to create new missions designed to work with the new model data. The game was extensively play tested, and changing the model data would probably upset the game's balance. The file with the model data, c3_model.txt, can be easily edited with a text editor, such as Notepad.
